The GSI127 device is designed for measurement systems. It can transmit AC signals over long distances via current, or serve as a safety barrier when voltage signals are applied. It can also provide power to sensors or other electronic devices, with a maximum output of 21 mA.

The GSI127 significantly reduces frame voltage, which is the ground noise that can interfere with measurements. Its built-in power supply features a floating output, so there is no need for a special low-noise power source. Standard 24V DC power supplies are compatible. Versions for hazardous areas have Zone 2 certification and can support sensors in Zone 0, which often eliminates the need for additional safety barriers.

The GSI127 is equipped with removable terminal connectors for easy wiring and can be installed on a standard DIN rail. It includes self-checking diagnostics that remotely monitor the status of the entire measurement system, ensuring reliability for safety-related applications.
